Boogaloo Burger

I Love Buuuurgers! (With burger buns) 1st Visit: If you love a good burger than this is the place to be! Boogaloo has a laid-back atmosphere and plays funky beats. It has a somewhat urban interior. Cutlery was placed on the table in an old tin can, pretty clever I thought. Service is as expected very relaxed, you come in and sit down and the waitress brings you the menus. Menus are inside a record cover, again very clever. The waitress informed us that there were no more burger buns! OH NO….. but the other options were naan bread or tortilla wrap. I ordered the 8oz lamb patty with bacon avocado with the naan bread. I have to say the burger was pretty tasty, the naan bread worked well and the honey grain mustard dressing suited the burger. We ordered a portion of chips, wasn’t impressed as they were bought in… I expected home-made chunky chips. I paid around €15 for the burger and a bottle of Tsing Tao beer. A bit pricey for this gloomy economic climate but then you pay more for good food. Would definitely come back and hopefully there’ll be burger buns the next time!

The Return of the Burger Bun! (2nd Visit): This is my 2nd time eating here. Last time I was here they ran out of buns. So I was really happy that this time they had burger buns! I ordered the ‘Magic Mushroom’ burger again with lamb, which was really nice. To be honest the avacado and bacon topping was much better. I recommend anyone eating here to order the hand cut chips, they are super delicious (when they’re not from the packet!). This place is a guaranteed winner for a quality wholesome burger.
