Food – Life, Passion, Art & Fun!

Living in Auchterarder and having already tried all cafés, I wanted to experience somewhere new. A friend from Crieff, that goes by the name of Sparrow-hawk, recommended Delivino’s as a spot for decent lunch. We arrived and place was full, so we had a pint around the corner and came back a half hour later as instructed.

We were three, and all had an empty stomach that needed to be filled. To drink we started off with a glass of dessert wine and a bottle of red (Primitivo-Sangiovese). The wines were excellent, and are beautifully displayed along the wall behind the counter. We shared between us one large ‘Delivino’s amazing grazing platter’, a small ‘Scottish smoked salmon platter’, a ‘Toasted ciabatta with chicken Liver pate’, and a spicy beef and chicken pizza of the day. The portion sizes of the food is well worth the prices and every plate returned to the kitchen licked clean. To ease the digestion process we finished with some espresso corretto.

Total bill came to just over £60. Good food, friendly service and excellent value for money.

On a second visit we again shared a Grazing platter to start and each order from the special’s board. I had the Spiced Pork Burger with Homemade Coleslaw and Wedges, quite delicious!
